Telegraph Canyon has been enjoying a little time off here and there as well as working on the songs for our next record. We’re glad to tell you that Will Johnson from Centro-Matic along with Britton Beisenherz from Monahans have agreed to help us produce this new album at Ramble Creek Studio in Austin that's slated for release in early ’09. We’re big fans of both of these guys and couldn’t be happier to have them team up with us to put this record together. We’ll start leaking some of the new songs sooner than we really should so keep an eye on this page or sign the mailing list to the left and we will keep you posted.
Thanks for coming to the Lola’s and Hailey’s shows in Fort Worth and Denton last week that we did with Doug Burr and Monahans. We had a great time and you all made it what it was.

FW Weekly Music Awards!
Telegraph Canyon is nominated for the Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards Album of The Year, Best New Artist & Best Alt Country Band. You can vote now by going to fwweekly.com and or by picking up a copy of this week’s edition and marking up the ballot on page 18. Voting ends June 23! In the weeks leading up to the awards show Telegraph Canyon will be one of five nominees to perform on Channel 21. The date and time of the broadcast are TBA. In edition TC will be playing the awards show on June 22 in downtown Fort Worth. More details to follow soon!

The band has several shows throughout Texas in June. We’ll kick it off at The Aardvark in Fort Worth with The Drams and Calhoun on June 7 (tickets are on sale now at www.frontgatetickets.com). On June 18 we’ll be at Dan’s Silverleaf in Denton and June 19 at Club Dada in Dallas with our good friends Birds & Batteries from San Francisco. And be sure to catch B&B at The Chat Room Pub in Fort Worth on June 17. TC will not be playing this show, but you can bet you’ll see us there!
For all you West Texas folks – Telegraph Canyon will be in Lubbock on June 27 at Whiskey Dix. Tell your friends!

Chatroom Pub this Saturday!
Telegraph Canyon will be playing at The Chatroom Pub in Fort Worth, TX this Saturday night with Oso Closo and Justin Riggs. The Chatroom is a small intimate space that turns out some of the best shows in the fort. Cover is only $5. Show starts at 10pm. See you then!

Hailey's in Denton, TX is hosting an End of School show Friday and Saturday April 25 and 26 during Jazz fest that is packed with tons of great bands both days. Telegraph Canyon will hit the stage on Saturday at 6:00pm. Best part is, it's FREE! Unless you're under 21, then it's only $6. All ages! Do it!
